A STORY ABOUT OUR 2004 MVP.............
Hello,
I just wanted to take a minute to email a big thank you for holding the Football camp this past weekend. My son Jake won the MVP award. He really enjoyed the camp, even with the intense 5 hours of learning. He has already said he DEFINITELY wants to go back to your camp next summer.
Another reason for this email is to congratulate you on your support of MS and finding its cure. I read the article in the local paper about Judy's struggle with MS and the crazy timing of its coming into her life.
My family is not new to illness and dealing with its ramifications on making life "normal". My son Jake (yes, the MVP) was born with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease (scid) or the "boy in the bubble" disease. No one knows unless we tell them because to most, Jake appears "normal". He received a Bone Marrow Transplant at 5 1/2 months and we have been blessed that it "worked". Now, over 8 yrs later, Jake is able to participate in many sports, attends Mason schools, and will be entering the 4th grade soon. He continues to amaze me with his health and love for all sports.
I plan to forward a picture of Jake and David Fulcher to the Immune Deficiency Foundation for possible use in their national newsletter. They try to tell stories of immune-deficient patients and how their disease doesn't limit their ability to "live". Jake's story would definitely be one to tell for that reason. I volunteer as a Peer Contact with the IDF and know that they are a positive influence on the Primary Immuno-compromised community. For our community, the IDF helps to fund research in finding cures for Primary Immune diseases (those that the patients are born with, not acquired later on).
Thank you for your time and consideration,

I wanted to take a minute to tell you what a wonderful experience my boys had at the 2006 Fulcher football camp. I have a 10 year old son (Christopher) and a 5 year old son (Dylan). We had the opportunity to meet David last February at the Florence Mall. My youngest son Dylan took immediately to David and David being the wonderful man he is was very nice to Dylan as well. He told us about his camp and we signed both boys up to attend. I was worried about Dylan because he was so young. Soon after arriving at the camp I realized Dylan would be fine. This was the most organized and diverse camp I had ever seen. The had things for children of all ages. My boys learned so many fundamentals about the game, and at the same time had so much fun !! David had a wonderful staff of coaches, they were all knowledgeable and amazing with the kids. David also arranged a variety of guest speakers that totally amazed the children. The time and money were well spent !!! I would HIGHLY recommend this camp to anyone who has a boy that enjoys football. The overall experience was outstanding for us as well as the boys !!!! David is truly a wonderful person and it obvious he has a true love for children as well as the game of football.
